Sometime last night my wife's UPS died. It's a Belkin Model F6C525-SER. 
I'll have to look for the manual for it -- their web site's search 
engine doesn't recognize that model number. The best I could get was a 
pdf file called, "Any Belkin Data Recovery Warranty."

At this point, what I'd like to find out is whether the battery died, or 
something else in the unit died, and then whether I should replace the 
battery or the whole unit.

Can anyone recommend educational reading on the selection, care and 
feeding of UPS's?
