HP (and maybe others) makes a printer with vertical input and outbout
bins on top.  Might have a 12"x10" footprint.  Low-volume, no
Postscript.  But in your position, I'd find a way to stick a fairly
thin printer (such as one of those inexpensive, Linux-compatible and
fast Samsung models) under the desk.  IMHO printers don't provide
enough useful interaction to deserve desk space.
