[PLUG] Promise ATA-66 card problems...

I'm running an ata-100 40 meg hard drive off of it.  The problem I'm
running into on my Fedora Core 1 system is that occasionally the
hard drive times out making me think that either A: I'm wearing it 
out, or B: the controller card is ceasing to respond.  Maybe there's
a kernel argument I need to pass at boot to fix this.
