[PLUG] WiFi Question

Paul,

   One of the association staff at the registration table told me that she
inserted her WiFi card in her laptop (running XP, I believe) and was able to
get a sign-up web page. No idea what hardware she was using. I could not pull
up any web page because my card did not recognize the network.

   Has anyone else encounted a situation like this? Or, are there changes to
configuration files on my notebook that will allow the card to see any and
all networks, free or otherwise?
