[PLUG] Copying Hard Disk to Hard Disk

So, when I boot up Knoppix, which starts up KDE and has icons for each 
connected hard drive, should I have opened those up and dragged the 
contents of the smaller one to the other?

To start over:

1. Delete all the stuff I put on the large drive with dd.

2. Boot up with Knoppix and proceed with the copy as described, above.

Right?
