[PLUG] Thunderbird & Firefox Updates

Which brings up an interesting point for those using firefox and 
thunderbird...

Did anybody here have any issues with firefox and thunderbird NOT 
informing the user that there was an update to be had?
I had my system spend a HUGE amount of time at a 1.0.X because it wasn't 
informing me of MAJOR updates.

So double check your versions folks...
Of course you could still be using pine.... ;)
