[PLUG] CPU test software needed

Just two notes then:
I've seen plenty of RAM issues caused by incompatibility, things that
crash under load and misbehave/segfault, but memtest will NEVER show
anything. You may want to try reducing the clock/CAS rates (probably
a group non-turbo setting in the BIOS).
P4's DO have extremely high max operating temps... unfortunately.
I've got a set of Opteron 850 systems that will sanely operate up to
71C if a fan dies, but norm is around 55C FULL load. Oddly, the P4's
should be throttling down if they do get that hot, so perhaps the
thermistor/lmsensors calibration is just way off.
Bad CPU's are not at all uncommon, especially in consumer-level systems.
Good luck!
