OK, I see some more reasonable prices at Amazon for the 650, but the
plans suck. I'm happy with T-Mobile, even though their coverage isn't
perfect; it's good enough in the places I go most. Unfortunately, they
don't offer the Treo any more, and getting an unlocked one is not in the
budget.

Yeah, T-Mobile has the best data prices. That another reason that I want
to stay with them.

I like the idea of integrated wifi, but I'm not convinced that the
reality of it is all that practical yet. There are rumors that the
integrated handsets (VoIP/GSM with seamless roaming) are supposed to be
here this summer, but I don't want first-generation hardware anyway.

I'm reviewing the code for XmBlackberry, and if it looks decent, I'll
try the crackberry and work on the code in my 'free time'. T-Mobile
dropped the price to 'free after rebates' to match the new Cingular
price at Amazon, so it's not too expensive to try. I can always go back
to my Sidekick if the crackberry is too painful.

Thanks to all who replied!
