Well, he said he was wiring so I assume the reasons why had already been 
thought of on his part.  I have wireless at home and I will give you a 
few areas it sucks in:

   - My 2.4GHz cordless phone get major static if I'm using the Wi-Fi
   - When the microwave is on my wireless is often weak or unavailable

In my house, these two things happen often enough when I am using my 
wireless in some way to make it really inconvenient.

The next phone I buy will be a 5GHz phone, just so I can get away from 
the 2.4GHz band.  Yes, I have tried different channels.  The next time I 
am in the market for a microwave I will do a little research and see 
what can be done there as well.  Maybe mine is leaky, or maybe there is 
nothing you can do about that in particular.

I saw your comment to Paul and as for the 'unreliable' issue, with what 
I outlined above, sorry.  Not much you can do when those sorts of things 
pop up.  You just deal with it.
