At the recent Blackhat conference, Johnny Cache claimed a new exploit of 
a common wireless driver flaw.  Although the demo showed rooting a Mac, 
he said he'd found the same flaw in some Windows drivers.

Extra specialness of this hack: it doesn't require you to even have an 
active connection running on your wireless card, only that the card is on.

To guard against all those exploits we don't even know about yet, go 
with a wired network.
