Pretty much all APC battery backup units (I assume that's what you meant,
since uninterruptable power supplies are usually diesel powered and take up
a crapload of space) are Linux-friendly with a variety of OSS software
available to read status and log power information with.  I don't know why
other manufacturers even bother at this point... APC's are generally
reasonably priced, reliable and they're drop in, plug-n-play, the batteries
are of a standard type and readily replaced, and they just work.  I really
can't think of anything anybody could possibly want out of a power supply
that most APC units don't offer by default.
