[PLUG] Why Lost Mail From Root?

   I need some help figuring out what's happening here.

   The script, /etc/cron.daily/1pflogsumm, is apparently run but the results
do not show up in my inbox.

   As root, I just ran it again manually, then checked mailq:

-Queue ID- --Size-- ----Arrival Time---- -Sender/Recipient-------
6ABE713493*   55991 Fri Dec 22 06:31:16  root at appl-ecosys.com
                                          rshepard at salmo.appl-ecosys.com

   This tells me that the script ran and the results sent by root to me. An
immediate re-invocation of mailq showed an empty queue.

   /var/log/maillog contains:

Dec 22 06:31:16 salmo postfix/pickup[19228]: 6ABE713493: uid=0 from=<root>
Dec 22 06:31:16 salmo postfix/cleanup[8154]: 6ABE713493: message-id=<20061222143
116.6ABE713493 at salmo.appl-ecosys.com>
Dec 22 06:31:17 salmo postfix/qmgr[5696]: 6ABE713493:
from=<root at appl-ecosys.com>, size=55991, nrcpt=1 (queue active)
Dec 22 06:31:37 salmo postfix/local[21632]: 6ABE713493:
to=<rshepard at salmo.appl-ecosys.com>, orig_to=<rshepard at salmo>, relay=local, delay=21, status=sent
(delivered to command: /usr/bin/procmail)
Dec 22 06:31:37 salmo postfix/qmgr[5696]: 6ABE713493: removed

   But, it has not shown up in my inbox -- nor any other mail file if
mis-directed by procmail.

   How should I test to determine where and why it got lost? Other messages
-- including some spam that the greylisting should have blocked -- make
in through the process, so I'm totally puzzled why this one message has not
been properly delivered the past three days.

Rich
