[PLUG] web browser can't see some sites

I have the same problem with my system and Firefox 1.5.0.1.
I have the same modem running on Ubuntu.  The last time this happened, I 
used Konqueror for a couple of days and Firefox magically started 
working(when I tried it for giggles)...go figure!
I will follow this one with interest.
