It's not "a" script.  It's several scripts.

is a nice place to start.

The standard place to store scripts to run on bootup, on places that use the
SYSV init system, is /etc/rc.local.  I notice it doesn't exist on my debian
based systems ...

It's called init.  `apropos init` will give you lots of man page choices.

Perhaps what you want to do is add it to the task bar?  
Right click on task bar, wander through the menus until you find Add App...
