Yep.  Right-click the background and choose "Switch User -> Start New 
Session".  Then login as the next user.  You can then use the Switch 
User option again to go back and forth between the two users.  Or do 
Ctrl-Alt-F7 and Ctrl-Alt-F8 to switch back and forth.
