It's my conclusion that you CANNOT "upgrade" from one version to another 
of firefox.  You must nuke the old one and install (or re-install) the 
new one.  Seems to be a lot of "stuff" left laying around if you try to 
upgrade.  I am running 1.5 now and it seems more stable and available 
than the earlier ones.  Also - the plugins, extensions and themes all 
upload and work.  Nice (finally).
