I ripped the cardbus slot ejector out of mine.  (It got caught on the 
laptop case and tore out of the slot, taking a bit of metal with it.)

I have had to do that to more than one machine.  Fun with dust alergies. 
(I once had to clean 15 Sparc 20s filled with dust.  Double plus ungood.)
