It's probably not capable of addressing more than 2megs or ram. If
you've only got 8 bits to store memory addresses in, then you just
can't "see" more than 2^8 * (wordsize) bits.
I'm no expert in hardware design, but that's the basic principle of
the thing... I'm sure other people can chime in with specifics and /
or corrections :)
