SVG is an XML format which will load in Firefox. Look around and see
if you can find a TreeForm to SVG XSLT converter.

Worse, nowhere did it say that it would/would not install on 64-bit Linux. But then I found it listed in Synaptic. I installed it, and now I've got TreeForm running. Yay!

The XML seems to be its native format, and works just fine. However, if I try to export as JPG or PNG it gives me an error message that I did not allocate enough memory to Java to complete the operation. So one solution would be to figure out something to add to the launch command above to make it use more RAM (I've got 1.25 GB).

I opened the .xml file in OpenOffice.org, but that just shows the XML code. I tried Insert > Picture, but XML is not a supported format, so the file doesn't appear in the dialog box. Ditto for Scribus. So I'm wondering if there are any XML gurus here who could give me some insight in how to translate the .xml file into some other vector format. Dia and Inkscape won't open it, Krita tries to open it, but needs some xsml file or something which I can't figure out, so it won't open it, and Sodipodi installs on my computer but won't run (segmentation fault). I would be happy to try something else if anyone has any suggestions. I just don't know enough about XML to understand how it works with graphics.
