Trying to get my Cisco678 to work....


It almost works..


I can ping if I know the IP

I can't ping using www.someplace.com


That should be /etc/resolv.conf..


I put in the name servers they told me to..
Which are gone cause I am on dial up

If I remember right 

205.171.3.65
205.171.2.65


Any way I am at a loss what is happening..

How can I help myself here...

Someone hit me the stupid stick!!!!


I can ping the inside gateway 10.0.0.1

 I am 10.0.0.2

Same mask on gateway and myself...

NAT is turned on...


I have a 207.x.x.x  on the outside....


This in NEW service.. DSL is new to me...

I put x in there to protect the guilty....

Why is the wan mask all 255 ??????



When I wake in the morning ..

I am hoping some one with have an answer...

Maybe I should shag this dsl router/modem down to Freegeek..

Do they have a connection I could check this out with????
