Microsoft was *giving* away free licenses of Windows a few months back 
(maybe they still are) if people turned in the *distributors* who are 
mass installing this stuff and offering discounted licenses now for 
people that just want to come clean.  Where's the hand cuffs in that? 
What attitude are you talking about?

The only people going to jail are the ones who are knowingly mass 
producing or distributing illegal versions of Windows.  And you know 
what?  It's not like those types of people don't know what they're 
doing.  They can't complain.

I don't like the way Windows licensing works either, but your argument 
is based on incorrect assumptions.
