[PLUG] Linux Certifications

I personally am wary of people with lots of certifications.. when I
interview people its pretty easy to see who actually knows what they are
talking about in relation to the certifications they list. Some areas have
made it so easy to get the certs these days it takes little more then a few
days worth of cram sessions before you can go get it.

I personally have a CCNA and I think if you study for the certification and
can glean more then just what its trying to teach you, for instance with the
CCNA.. if you can take away the practical info about TCP/IP and networking
in general and also take in the cisco stuff as well then its beneficial.
