Overview: Total cost of ownership is higher because Microsoft Windows 
cost more to obtain software, remove infections and support. Linux TCO 
is lower because it is inexpensive to obtain, programs support are free, 
and Linux cannot be infected with malware, spyware, virus, or malicious 
code.
