Are you familiar with the 'less' command?  If not, you should be.  less
allows you to quickly view a file.  You can do all sorts of things with
it, but here's a quick starter course.

h	help
j	scroll down one line
space	page down
k	scroll up one line
b	page up
G	jump to end of file
g	jump to beginning of file
q	quit
