Aha! "Undelete" rings a bell. Sure enough, that second one pointed to a 
HowTo that I remember. I also remember that, while it works, rebuilding 
from a backup and just adding the handful of entries since the backup 
will be easier!

I really should look into upgrading Samba and adding that "recycle bin" 
feature.
