Even cheaper than a virtual colo account is a free DynDNS domain name
and a year's worth of outbound mail "smarthost" service ($15). All
your outgoing mail goes through their mail server (static IP
assignment and all that good stuff), and you can still receive
incoming mail on your own server (to your own domain).
