[PLUG] partition mounts read-only

Ack!! Nothing but bad news.  Well I felt it might be this but was hoping 
otherwise.

Thanks to all.  Fortunately it is only the /var/log partition.  I can 
grab the important files ( a mail spool wit hsome enhancements :-) and 
get a new HD installed.
