[PLUG] Knoppix blank screen

Hit the <F1> key (or something like that) at the boot prompt.  It should 
give you some options you can specify.  Try changing your monitor's 
resolution and/or modes.  Perhaps try to force vesa mode.  Let us know 
if that helps.
