kernel-devel is the kernel headers package, but it installed
in /usr/src/kernels/$(uname -r)-$(uname -p)/.  By
convention, /lib/modules/$(uname -r)/build is a symlink to kernel
headers, which is where vmware-config.pl looks and then
suggests /usr/src/linux if it fails, since that's conventional.
