[PLUG] Copying CD/DVD with two drives

... John can't use both CDROM drives ...

I have two CDROM drives, and can read from one and write to the
other, both by device name ( /dev/cdrom and /dev/cdrom1 ) in
command line scripts,  and using gui apps such as K3B .

However, my drives are two different models.  The gui apps you
are using might be getting confused if both devices are exactly
the same type.  Maybe.

More likely is that both drives are not getting seen for some
reason - BIOS configuration, for example.  On the command line
in a shell window, type "dmesg | less" and see whether both
drives are seen during bootup, and what devices they are assigned
to.  There is a lot more debugging beyond that, but the dmesg
information will split the problem up.
