Ew, this keeps getting weirder. Here's the whole deal:

scp -words [-1246BCpqrv ] [-c -file ... -cipher ] [-F -file ... -ssh_config ] 
[-i -file ... -identity_file ] [-l -file ... -limit ] 
[-o -file ... -ssh_option ] [-P -file ... -port ] [-S -file ... -program ] Sm 
off [[user @ ] host1 : file1 ] Sm on [... ] Sm off [[user @ ] host2 : file2 ] 
Sm on 

What is Sm on/off? Smirnoff? Silent magpie? Sweet magnolia?
