Mostly it is ignored, but most coding is reasonably OS-independant
(FreeBSD if nothing else) so many things just build.

Those will all build on SunOS, at least with GCC on SunOS. I think Sun's
compiler (named "Forte"/"SunPro", binary `cc`) should build all of those,
but don't quote me on that.
