Neat!
I know, I'm a troll. But there is some semblance to reality in what I
said. That said, I *do* like Linux.

I really hate that argument. If you want GNU software, then use Linux.
There's nothing wrong with Linux for things where you want
tons-o-software. Even web servers (if they're redundant). And the GNU
package managers for other OS's come with the kitchen sink, so you don't
have to worry about runtime library linking issues. It's not
"integrated" but rather helps with some common issues. (blastwave++)

I tend to focus on the kernel things (like Linux's broken NFSv4
implementation; that greatly saddens me. I touted the fact that the OSDL
tested NFSv4 very well, and they let me down).

True! But I do try to filter those instances out. A kernel panic is a
kernel panic, no matter what the userspace does.
