Bill,

   If worse comes to worst, I'll remove xubuntu and return to Slackware. I'm
sure that I can get the sound working again with this distribution, and that
was the only real reason to change. Slackware-12.0 comes with Xfce-4.4 so I
can make her desktop look the same as it now does. And, we subscribers will
get our box of disks Real Soon Now.
