[PLUG] feisty kernel

am running Feisty on a laptop, P4 3.2 with 2G of ram and an 80G harddrive.

I have been doing a little reading on kernels and wondered what is the 
collective opinion of installing a different kernel, ie i386 or i686, 
versus the generic?

uname -a reports:   Linux david 2.6.20-16-generic #2 SMP Wed May 23 
01:46:23 UTC 2007 i686 GNU/Linux
