   This looks like the ideal solution: rewrite SL in Lisp and use Oracle as
the back end. SL supports PostgreSQL, Oracle, and DB2. :-)

   It may or may not be what you want, but the accounting algorithms work
(even if they're not the most polished). It will give you a frame of
reference if nothing else.
