There is no kill signal.
ATX Power supplies get a low voltage signal to power on. If this goes
the other way
the power supply shuts down. Also there is a Power OK line that must
be on after
a certain amount of time or the power supply shuts down.
There was a thread on the list that had the thermal shutdown setting
at a seriously
wrong level that was doing something similar and was a bear to troubleshoot.
