[PLUG] using VM Ware for "real" work -- has any one had success with this?

1 gig now, should have another gig sometime in the near future.

I don't know how to allocate memory to the VM. with VM Ware player,
but it seems to use about 50% of my system memory, so it's probably
using 512.  As far as I can tell, tweaking memory allocation isn't a
feature of the free version of VMware (I could be wrong.)
