[PLUG] Killing form pop-ups in OOo?

I have a Word template that has form fields. I can fill in the fields,
but with text fields, I am assaulted by a pop-up, rather than just
inserting into place. (I am told by colleagues that Word does not use
pop-ups either.)

I looked through the Options, but there is so much stuff there that I
could have missed it. Several searches on Google and OOoForum.org have
yielded nothing, except perhaps a hint that this is something I cannot
change. Anyone seen anything about this?
