dusty ~ # cat /proc/sys/kernel/panic

I haven't configured suspend to ram/disk yet, but I can take those boot
params out if they're causing problems.
The board is an Intel DP35DP with an Intel Core2Duo E6550.

The only hardware I would suspect in the system is the LSI Logic PCI
SCSI controller. It's ancient - but there to run an ancient HP scanner.
I haven't checked for a BIOS update. I'll do that tonight. It's worth
noting though, that no configuration changes have occurred prior to the
reboot-syndrome.
I've got Gentoo on there, with Linux 2.6.20. Also the e1000 driver from
e1000.sf.net version 7.6.5.
There is another system at her house running Gentoo doing routing and
web proxy which I can send system logs to. I'm sure I can get that setup
myself, I know about the kernel options for it. I just need to research
syslog servers and select one to setup.
Thanks,
Aaron
