Depending on where you move you won't always have all the choices that
are being provided.  Qwest and Verizon divide most of the area for
broadband with
only Comcast providing an alternative.  Yes, you can get a local
provider but you will
still have to pay the local loop provider $15-25/month to get them.
If Verizon is offering
FIOS in your area DSL cannot be had even from the alternate local provider.
