[PLUG] Virus / Worm Check

Folks,

I'm seeing a proliferation of "returned emails", apparently from
spammers who are using my email address. I'm running Hardy Heron 8.04.1.

I've been trying to figure out how to filter out these returned emails,
but there's a wide variety of return emails from spam filters.

Based on my research, I think I may need to check for a possible Linux
worm, but am not sure what to use. I have ClamAV installed, but the
Ubuntu help page https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ClamAV suggests it's
only good for Windows viruses - and an update via

freshclam

suggests that this is outdated. From the "outdated" clamscan, I have no
viruses.

So I guess I have two questions -

1) If you've been victimized by a spammer who has used your email as a
return address - what do you do?
2) What approach should I take to virus / worm checking?

Thanks,
Mike
