[PLUG] Strange folders

My Thinkpad has a CD/DVD drive, which Ubuntu mounts in /media/cdrom. It
works just fine. But while tidying up and such prior to upgrading to
Intrepid I discovered four folders in /media/cdrom (all owned by root):

2007-11-09_10.04.51.241445.Devil7.inc
2007-11-09_10.03.43.558288.Devil7.inc
2007-11-09_09.34.45.021939.Devil7.inc
2007-11-08_21.56.08.043253.Devil7.ful

Each contains the following files:
	excludes (text file containing a list of file types)
	files.tgz
	flist (text file)
	fprops (text file)
	packages (text file)
	ver (text file of four bytes that says "1.4")
	base (text file)

Obviously they were created over a year ago. Why? Anyone know what
these things are doing there?
