Comcast is evil in the sense that they have terms of service that say
you should not share your connection.  There are several DSL ISPs that
are explicitly sharing friendly, e.g.:

  Stephouse Networks
  Easystreet
  Speakeasy
  Integra (if you have a business line)

There may be others (if so, please ping me privately, and I'll start
plugging you too).

I am sure that some Comcast subscribers do share their connection, but
there is always the risk that if you do that Comcast will come to you
and request that you stop sending them $56/month.  We recommend that
you send your money to bandwidth providers that are friendly and
far-sighted from the get-go.
