 Disk wiping usually means making the prior content unrecoverable. If
you mean you want to repartition and reformat a HD then you can use
partition magic or even an install CD/DVD for linux or GNU Parted.

By memory do you mean HD space? If you need more memory for the computer
then check to see if your computer can accept more physical memory.
