Realtors Multiple Listing Service, the MLS for much of the state, took a
survey the other day asking which operating system members "prefer." Of
course I replied "Linux." The results are not surprising. 3296 members
responded with the following breakdown:

Vista	13%
XP	77%
Linux	 1%
Mac OS	 9%
Other	 1%

It's possible that I'm the only one who picked Linux, and the result
tabulator rounds up to 1%, but it may mean that there are other Linux
fans in the real estate business. At least Linux rated it's own category
instead of being lumped in with other.

RMLS promised us that around the middle of this year they'd release a
version of their web site that we could use with browsers other than IE.
I think they switched focus because what they are in the process of
releasing is a version for mobile devices, like smart phones. So, until
they get back to the main site conversion project I'll have to keep
using XP.
