Reminding you all that most of the PLUG Library is still in my basement,
ready for long-term borrowing. These books were brand new last summer,
but they aren't getting any younger. The rules are, you get to keep
the books until somebody else wants them. I will be bringing a few
Ruby books to the Thursday PLUG meeting, for new member Gilbert.
I can bring some for you, too.

Please go to the main Library Wiki page at:

Today's addition to the PLUG library is from the Tigard Library
used book sale. At $2 per bag, it cost me about 8 cents:

The Unofficial Guide to Getting a Job at Microsoft
by Rebecca Smith, McGraw-Hill, 2000

This is suggested reading for any twits on the list that want Linux
to be more like Windoze. Please cut and paste the handy snipr
abbreviation into your mailer, and send that in response.

PS - By an amazing coincidence, 20 RMB ( Renmembi, Chinese currency)
is about $2.80, which I imagine is approximately the hourly rate for
the only people Microsoft is hiring these days. Of course, if the
dollar keeps plummeting, 20RMB will seem a pretty high wage in five
years or so.
