[PLUG] Replacing Processed Words with Typeset Ones

For the few among us who use LaTeX/TeX/LyX for writing technical documents
and other important tomes, there is now the ability to write business
letters, proposals, and similar documents -- complete with logos or
letterheads and scanned signatures -- without dropping back to a word
processor.

With the assistance of one of the LyX developers in Germany, I have a
working letter/proposal template that uses a PDF file for the letterhead and
a scanned signature so the pdf file can be "signed." It's based on the
KOMA-letter2 style and is compiled using pdflatex.

The template will soon be posted to the LyX wiki <http://www.lyx.org/> and
available for your writing pleasure.

By including your technical vector graphics using PSTricks, you can create
beautiful typeset documents and forego word processors except to translate
M$ .doc files to .odt.
