Oh, you're right about the typo, but that error is just in my e-mail, not the file. I miss-typed it into the e-mail, rather than a copy/paste.

Looks like you might have a syntax error in this line.  I'm not familiar
with separating options with '/' characters.  Normally you'd use ',' for
it, though perhaps some systems support '/'.  Try changing this line:

> /dev/sdb1   /home/svanhoosen/data   ext2   rw/user/noauto/exec  0  0

to:

 /dev/sdb1   /home/svanhoosen/data   ext2   rw,user,noauto,exec  0  0

or something thereabouts.
