Always looking for something simpler and better.
The latest issue of Linux Journal had a mention of Memopal, an online backup service:

Although the software is still in beta, I had no problem installing it on Hardy x86_64. Unfortunately, I have not been able to try it out because the activation routine failed to send me the e-mail it said it was sending for my free 6-day trial account. A query to support has yielded no answers so far.
Nevertheless, it looks really good - $49 per year for 150 GB, and substantial discounts if you pay for more than one year in advance. However, outfits that give big discounts for years in advance have a tendency to disappear quickly. Also not impressed with the buggy web account activation page.
So what do y'all think of $49 per year for 150 GB?
Are there alternative services like this? Which is the best?
